Privacy policy

What personal data Forgeo processes, why, and your rights.

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Who we are

Forgeo is a service published by Quentin Tristan, Entrepreneur individuel (EI), whose registered address is 172 chemin de l'École, 01120 Montluel, France ("Forgeo", "we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

When you connect your CRM to Forgeo, we process the data it contains on your behalf and following your instructions, as your processor.

For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at quentin.tristan.pro@gmail.com.

Data we collect

Account data: your name, email address, organisation and role, and your sign-in credentials (passwords are only stored hashed) or your Google sign-in identity.

Data from the tools you connect: the CRM records you choose to sync with Forgeo, and information from public professional sources used to enrich them at your request.

Technical data: logs, IP address, browser and device information, used to operate and secure the service.

Communications: the messages you send us and the details you share when you book a call.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide, maintain and improve Forgeo, to keep it secure and prevent abuse, to answer your requests and keep you informed about the service, and to meet our legal obligations.

Depending on the purpose, we rely on the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running a secure and reliable service, your consent where it is required, or a legal obligation.

We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.

Cookies

This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies. The Forgeo application only uses cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in.

Who we share data with

We only share data with service providers that help us run Forgeo, such as hosting, infrastructure, authentication and data enrichment providers. They act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and security obligations. We may also disclose data to public authorities when the law requires it.

When data is transferred outside the European Union, it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: the CRM records synced from your CRM while it is connected; your account data, audit results, duplicate groups, the history of changes written to your CRM (previous and new values, and a snapshot of each merged record) and the LinkedIn data retrieved to enrich your records for the life of your account; and other data for the periods required by law.

When you disconnect your CRM, the synced copy of your CRM is deleted and Forgeo's access to it is revoked. When you ask us to close your account, all remaining data is deleted. Backups are overwritten within a limited period.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption of access tokens, access controls and regular backups.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy in a portable format. Where processing relies on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise these rights, write to quentin.tristan.pro@gmail.com. If you are a contact in one of our customers' CRMs, you can also reach out to that customer directly.

You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Forgeo evolves. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will announce significant changes on this site or by email.
